I have lived in Missoula, Montana since 1980 after moving here from Virginia when I met and married a Missoula native, Betty Jo Moderie. We have two wonderful daughters together after 26 years of marriage, Bobbie and Jamie. Jamie is a recent 2006 University of Montana "Grizzly" graduate. Bobbie, my younger daughter, has also shown promise as a sports photographer.
I have always had an interest in filming sports and taking sports photographs. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Television, Radio and Film from Liberty Baptist College in 1979, I moved to Montana. Currently I film coach game exchange films for the University of Montana, a position I have held for over 25 years. This has taken me from shooting 16mm film thru digital video. The highlight of my career was filming a piece of Montana History during the run at which the Montana Grizzlies won the Division I-AA National Championship Title game in 1995. Then six years later, winning a second Division I-AA National Championship Title game again in 2001. I also enjoy taking action photos of various Local High School sports as well as youth sports like Little Grizzly Football, Little League Baseball and YMCA Basketball.
As a family man, I know how important it is to capture memories before long gone. Kids seem to grow up fast and faces can quickly change over the years. My goal is to provide high quality digital sports action photos and family pictures at a reasonable price for players, family and friends to enjoy and to share.
I also have developed a passion for music and singing, and can host Karaoke shows or work mixing music for special events and parties.
